LGU PROJECTS. Twenty barangays from Negros Occidental Districts III, IV and VI received financial assistance from the Provincial Government, worth a total of P5.3 Million for local projects, such as rehabilitation of drainage systems, construction of barangay hall extension, acquisition of office equipment, purchase of jetmatic pumps, solar lights, medical equipment and medicines, installation of CCTV cameras, and construction of multi-purpose hall extension, perimeter fence, among others.
Mayor Gerry Rojas of Murcia also received P2.2 Million for the acquisition of multi-purpose vehicles for the town’s 22 barangays, while Mayor Alejandro Mirasol of Binalbagan received P2 Million for the medical assistance of various beneficiaries.
The respective punong barangays and representatives received the checks from Gov. Bong Lacson at the Capitol, this afternoon.
