Twenty-four (24) Negrense OFWs were allowed to go home after completing their mandatory 14-day quarantine at the Go Hotel in Bacolod City, today. All of them tested negative for COVID-19.

They were brought home by their respective local government units. Each of them received food packs and pasalubong treats from Ceres Mart.

This batch was originally composed of twenty-seven (27) OFWs who arrived in Negros Occidental last April 28, 2020. Three of them tested positive for COVID-19 and were brought back to the province’s Healing Center in E.B. Magalona for isolation and treatment.

They were assisted by the Provincial Health Office and PDDRM personnel during their quarantine stay until their discharge schedule.
