As part of the Negros Day celebration this month, the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental awarded the Outstanding Taxpayers of the Province for 2022 during the “Pasidungog sa mga Bag-o nga Baganihan sang Probinsya” event last night at the Capitol Social Hall.
The top taxpayers/awardees under the Corporate Category are Negros Island Solar Power, Inc., Binalbagan Isabela Sugar Company, Manapla Sun Power Development Corporation, Asian Alcohol Corporation, and Tanduay Distillers, Inc. while the awardees for the Individual Category are Ricardo C. Silverio, et. al, Apolinario D. Rijon, Rachel B. Tan, Ervin A. Maravilla, Jr., and Abelardo D. Bantug III.
Gov. Bong Lacson led the awarding ceremony together with Board Members Rita Gatuslao, Andrew Montelibano, and Sixto Pal Guanzon, and Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz.
Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez and ACE President, Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez were also present at the awarding ceremony.
