Roberto “Ka Dodoy” Ballon, 2021 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Bong Lacson at the Governor’s Office last Friday, June 3, 2022. He is a fisherman from Zamboanga Sibugay who led a community in restoring their rich aquatic resources and their primary source of livelihood.
Ballon was with Illa Hilado and Elena Gatanela of the Rotary Club of Bacolod South, Fr. Jimmy Carmona, and Christopher Fadriga, a Negrense cacao farmer and cocoa producer, who won gold award in the 2021 International Cocoa Awards.
