Governor Bong Lacson received the two units of Specimen Collection Booths (SCB) turned over to the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, today, by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office VI and Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas (TUP-V), to be used during the mass testing dubbed as “Timeout Weekend” August 28 – 31, 2020. DOST and TUP-V collaborate in the fabrication of SCBs to be deployed to identified health facilities and hospital in Negros Occidental, that intends to protect the healthcare workers in the support to the fight against the worldwide pandemic.
