Governor Bong Lacson welcomed all participants at the opening of the 2025 Inter-La Salle Sports Camp, dubbed “Hugpong Hampang,” held yesterday (Jan. 20) at the University of St. La Salle Coliseum in Bacolod City.

The weeklong event is participated in by 15 La Salle schools from various parts of the country.

Governor Lacson said that Hugpong Hampang symbolizes not only a shared passion for sports but also the spirit of unity and solidarity that defines the Lasallian family.

“This sports camp is also an opportunity to experience the vibrant traditions and warm hospitality of the Negrense community,” he said.

“This event is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and the values instilled in us by our Alma Mater,” he added.*
