Board Member Jeffrey Tubola, chairman of the SP Committee on Cooperative, Executive Assistant to the Governor Marie June Castro, and OIC Provincial Agriculturist Dr. Dina Genzola led the turnover of various agri-fishery projects and agricultural livelihood support to beneficiaries from various LGUs in the province.
The activity was held yesterday (December 16) at Negros Residences in Bacolod City.
The Livelihood Support Program for Rural Women/RICs, funded through the 2024 Gender and Development Fund, includes marketing assistance and fishing net inputs, supporting various agricultural and fishery projects and activities. The program benefits 1,545 beneficiaries who are members of provincial government-accredited agri-fishery organizations.
During the activity, winners of the Search for Rural Improvement Club (RIC) and Rural Women were also recognized and received their prizes.
