Gov. Bong Lacson attended the Year-End Review and Awarding Ceremony of the Poultry and Livestock Association of Negros Occidental (PLANO), held yesterday (Dec. 11) in Cadiz City.

The event was attended by veterinarians and livestock workers representing the 32 towns and cities of the province.

The activity highlighted the association’s significant achievements over the year, evaluated its initiatives’ performance, and recognized best practices among local government units and partner organizations, fostering collaboration and excellence in the field of poultry and livestock development.

“I sincerely commend your efforts and unwavering support in advancing and ensuring the success of our Food Security and Agricultural Productivity programs in the province,” said Gov. Lacson.

He also encouraged attendees to maximize the use of the ABANSE Negrense District Animal Health Centers, strategically established across the province’s six districts, to further enhance veterinary services and livestock development.*
