Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson warmly welcomed Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco during the Terra Madre Visayas program held yesterday (November 21) at the Negros Residences in Bacolod City. Joining them were Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez and Victorias City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez.
As part of the program, Secretary Frasco actively participated in the preparation of the iconic Negrense dish, Kadyos, Baboy, Langka (KBL), showcasing her engagement with the region’s rich culinary heritage.
This activity is one of the highlights of the ongoing 17th Negros Island Organic Farmers Festival and the 2nd Terra Madre Visayas, which is being celebrated throughout the week at the Capitol Grounds.
