Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson welcomed the officers, members, and guests of the Philippine Association of Local Government Accountants during the opening ceremonies of the 17th Visayas Geographical Conference held at SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City, this afternoon.
Gov. Lacson urged the participants to embrace the opportunity of learning from one another and inspire each other, as they contribute to the success and sustainability of the businesses they serve and engage.
“I hold the accounting profession in high regard, as accountants are not merely number crunchers; they are strategic advisors and champions of ethical practices,” he said.
