Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson chaired the Regional Peace and Order Council Meeting for the Third Quarter CY 2024 held at Negros Residences, Bacolod City, this morning.
Among the agenda discussed at the meeting were the insurgency situation in Region VI, regional peace and order situation, regional drug situation, security measures in the region on the entry of vessels engaged in foreign commerce, and Gun-Free Zones in selected areas in Western Visayas.
Also present during the meeting were DILG VI Regional Director Juan Jovian E. Ingeniero, representatives from Special Action Committee (SAC) on Insurgency and Preventing Violent Extemism, SAC on Anti- Criminality, SAC on Anti-illegal Drugs, Bureau of Customs VI, and Police Regional Office VI.
