Gov. Bong Lacson presided over the Provincial Health Board Meeting held at the Provincial Capitol, this afternoon, and tackled updates on the Health Impact Assessment in the province, particularly the management of Dengue cases among LGUs.

The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual for the Primary Health Care Facility in the province was launched at the meeting.

The manual serves as a comprehensive reference guide for the operation and management of primary healthcare facilities within Negros Occidental.

The Provincial Health Office also recognized various schools for their best practices in healthcare promotion.

The awardees are Antipolo Elementary School (Pontevedra) – Best Practices for Healthy School Policy; San Juan Elementary School (Pontevedra) – Best Practice for Physical School Environment; and Jose B. Puey Sr. Elementary School (Sagay) and Rita Lovino Elementary School (E.B. Magalona) – Best Practice for Access to Health Care.#AbanseNegrense
