The Provincial Statistical Committee (PSC) held its first meeting at the Capitol Social Hall, Wednesday (July 31), attended by different provincial and line agencies, and presided over by OIC-Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Anna Marie Lucasan.

The committee passed a resolution urging the Local Government Units to support the ongoing (2014) Census of Population and Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS).

Another resolution was also passed by the council members to support the provincial activities during the conduct of the Statistics Month celebrated every October of each year.

Another important resolution was passed urging the LGUs to submit on time their data on their economic performance— income generation and expenditures, number of establishments, among others to support the Gross Regional Domestic Product Account generation that contributes and determines the overall economic performance of the province.
