Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the third batch of grantees of the Diploma in Environment and Green Technology Education (DEGTE) Scholarship under the Negros Occ. Scholarship Program (NOSP).
The MOA signing was held at the HOD Conference Room at the Provincial Capitol, yesterday (July 15) and witnessed by NOSP Head Karen Dinsay, PEMO Head Atty. Julie Ann Bedrio, and representatives from the Philippine Normal University.
DEGTE is designed to respond to the needs of professionals and practitioners for continuing professional development in Environment and Green Technology Education, aimed at developing their knowledge and skills, values, and attitudes towards environmental protection, conservation, and sustainability.
It covers the concepts, theories, and principles of Environmental Science, Human Systems and the Environment, and Education and Teaching.
The grantees are from the towns of Ilog, Valladolid, Hinobaan, Hinigaran, and Isabela, and the cities of Sipalay, Silay, and San Carlos, as well as from the provincial government.*#nospscholarshipprogram#AbanseNegrense
