Gov. Bong Lacson welcomed the participants and guests of the three-day Zonal TESDA Technical Institutions’ Institutional Development Plan (TTIS’ IDP) Evaluation Reconciliation Workshop of Scholarship Programs (Visayas Cluster), held at Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay City, which started yesterday (May 7).
The activity aims to reconcile and validate physical accomplishments and financial reports and gather implementation issues and concerns related to the scholarship programs offered by TESDA.
Gov. Bong Lacson assured the Provincial Government’s assistance and support to TESDA; he said that the government agency has been a source of empowerment for the people of Negros Occidental.
Also present at the opening ceremonies were TESDA VI Regional Director Florencio Sunico, Jr., Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Aniceto Bertiz III, and Victorias City Mayor and Association of Chief Executives (ACE) Negros Occ. president Javi Benitez, among others.
