Negros Occidental officials led by Gov. Bong Lacson and Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer welcome President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who led the distribution of land titles and turnover of support services at the Manuel Y. Torres Memorial Coliseum and Cultural Center in Bago City, today.
The Dept. of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Region VI spearheaded the distribution of around 4,700 Certificate of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) to more than 2,700 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Negros Occidental.
“This morning’s distribution of thousands of Certificates of Land Ownership covering thousands of hectares of land, to thousands of Negrense Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, along with support services such as farm machinery, equipment, farm-to-market roads, and the “Tulay ng Pangulo para sa Kaunlaran Pang Agraryo”, marks a significant step toward our goal of improving the socio-economic conditions of our farmers and the overall political development of the Philippines,” said Gov. Lacson.
The governor thanked DAR and the Department of Agriculture for working tirelessly to support the Agrarian Reform beneficiaries of the province.
“I welcome our President to our beautiful province and everyone who made this eventful day possible for Negros Occidental,” he added.
