The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through the Provincial Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System spearheaded the Provincial Women’s Month Celebration in a program held at the Capitol Social Hall, today.

Women Capitol employees availed of free consultation and services such as blood sugar testing, urine testing, Pap Smear, and VIA Screening.Gov. Lacson said that today’s activity focuses on women’s health, defined by the World Health Organization as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

He also said that the activity and free health services are giving life to the theme, “Para sa Ika-ayong Lawas ni Juana”.

“This is our way of taking care of your well-being and health, expressing our appreciation, and showing gratitude for your dedicated public service,” he added.
