Gov. Bong Lacson welcomed Gabriele Kohlisch, Project Manager of the GIZ Head Office in Germany, Heike Gundlich and Holger Diehl from the Environment Ministry of Hessen, Germany, Prof. Dr. Ralf Wagner and Katharina Raab of the University of Kassel Germany, and GIZ 3RProMar Project Manager Dr. Johannes Paul, who paid a courtesy visit at the Governor’s Office, today.

They talked about the Solid Waste Management Program of the province and a project that involves conducting research on plastic waste leakage in Bacolod City, which will provide various inputs to the SWM Program of the LGU.

The related research is led by the University of Kassel in partnership with the University of St. La Salle Bacolod and La Consolacion College Bacolod, funded by the Hessian Ministry for Environment and BMZ.*#AbanseNegrense
