The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental distributed animal feeds, veterinary drugs and biologics to various LGUs of the province, today.
Gov. Bong Lacson, together with Board Members Jeffrey Tubola and Andrew Montelibano led the ceremonial distribution held at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, attended by Provincial Veterinary Office OIC Dr. Placeda Lemana, LGU representatives, and poultry and livestock raisers from all over the province.
The animal feeds and mineral blocks, which will be given to poultry multiplier farms, were part of the Typhoon Odette Rehabilitation Program of the Dept. of Agriculture – Western Visayas Quick Response Fund, while the veterinary drugs and biologics are from the PVO, which intend to support animal health program and disease prevention.
Gov. Lacson thanked the support of the poultry and livestock raisers in strengthening the food security and local economy in the province.
The activity is also part of today’s Livestock Consultative Meeting of the Provincial Veterinary Office in collaboration with the Poultry and Livestock Association in Negros Occidental (PLANO).*#AbanseNegrense
