In relation to the Father’s Day celebration this June, the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental held a “Kapehan sa Kapitolyo” attended by male representatives from the different Capitol departments and offices, today.
The activity aims to raise awareness on the important role of fathers as catalysts for change in homes and in the community.
It’s spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office through its ERPAT Program or the Empowerment and Re-affirmation of Paternal Abilities and Talents, which recognizes the vital role of fathers, their significance and enormous potential.
Gov. Lacson expressed his support to all father-employees of the Capitol and encouraged them to allow themselves to be cultivated in the development and enrichment of knowledge, attitude, and skills in performing paternal roles and responsibilities.*
