The Negros-Sagay Football Team prepares for the PFF U19 Boys National Finals to be held in Carmona, Cavite on June 21-29, 2023. The team undergoes training at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
The Negros-Sagay Football team is set to defend its title after they were hailed champion in the PFF Under-19 Boys National Championship – First Division at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite in June of last year.The team defeated the National Capital Region FA after a gripping 1-0 extra-time victory.
The Negros-Sagay Football Team Training Program is a collaboration of the Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) and the ABANSE NEGRENSE Sports Program led by Gov. Bong Lacson, assisted by the Provincial Sports Development Program led by Anthony Carlo Agustin.
The team is also sponsored by the Local Government of Sagay and the Office of 2nd District Congressman Hon. Alfredo Marañon III.*
Panaad Park and Stadium as Premier Sporting Arena
The Negros Occidental’s Panaad Park and Stadium is a premier multi-purpose sporting arena in the province with different sports events recently held in the stadium.
Last week, Buglas Futbol Philippines held the 2nd COPA A.B.B. (Abanse Buglas Bootfest) while the Department of Education’s Alternative Learning System conducted its 3-day Pasundayag 2023 last May 24-26, 2023.
More upcoming sports activities will be held at Panaad such as the Real Negrense Football Club vs. Old Skol Football Club of Dumaguete Friendly Match, which will be held on June 11, 2023. Moreover, Buglas Futbol Philippines will also conduct the 3rd leg of its COPA A.B.B. (Abanse Buglas Bootfest) on July 22-23, 2023 at 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
It will be participated in by 20 teams in preparation for the SingaCup 2023 in Singapore on November 6-12, 2023.Rotaract Club of Metro Bacolod’s Rotary Cup 2023: Sipa for Polio will also be happening at the Pana-ad Park and Stadium on September 16-17, 2023.All upcoming sports events at Panaad are coordinated with the ABANSE NEGRENSE Sports Program.* #AbanseNegrense
