WATCH. Groundbreaking ceremony of Villa Tiglawigan Housing Project held in Cadiz City.
Governor Bong Lacson, together with Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante, Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony for the Villa Tiglawigan Housing Project, located in Brgy. Tiglawigan, Cadiz City yesterday, May 8, 2023.
The Cadiz City LGU partnered with Pag-IBIG Fund to provide affordable and decent housing for government workers.Fermin Sta. Teresa, Jr., Senior Vice President for Home Lending Operations of the Pag-IBIG Fund, together with other officials and guests joined the groundbreaking ceremony and lowering of the time capsule for the 12-hectare housing project.
Of the total area, about two hectares will be allocated for the informal settlers of Brgy. Tiglawigan.
Gov. Lacson lauded the local government and partner agencies for collaborating in the implementation of the project.
He also said that the Provincial Government is ready to extend support to achieve the common desire for available, affordable, and decent housing for the Negrenses.
