WATCH. Blessing and Turn-over Ceremony of Land Transportation Office
Governor Bong Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, together with Mayor Albee Benitez, Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya, and LTO officials led by USec. Mark Steven Pastor, Asst. Sec. Jose Arturo Tugade, RD Lenard Tabaldo, and LTO Bacolod Chief Renato Novero attended the blessing and turnover ceremony of LTO 6, Bacolod District Office in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City this morning.
The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental donated the one-hectare property and the new building of LTO, located at its new site, to address the considerable increase in the volume of LTO transactions that overwhelmed the agency’s previous office location.
Gov. Lacson said that the transfer of the LTO Office will not only address the various needs of its clients but likewise steer further development in the surrounding areas.
The governor said that the activity is a testament that the accord between the Province and Bacolod City is enormously constructive and beneficial to the Negrenses and Bacolodnons.
