Governor Bong Lacson swore in the new set of board of directors of the Negros Occ. Historical Council, Inc. (NOHCI) led by Chairman of the Board Neil Solomon Locsin, at the Governor’s Office this afternoon.
Other officers are Fylgia Hofilena, secretary; Gil Alfredo Severino, treasurer; Luis Antonio Valderrama, Mary Ann Manganti, Wilson Gamboa, and Ramon Conlu, directors; and Vanessa Lacson, office secretary.
The group reiterated their commitment to the preservation of the history and heritage of Negros Occidental.
They thanked Gov. Lacson for his support to NOHCI and look forward to a renewed partnership in nurturing historical consciousness through innovative activities and continued assistance to researchers, the academe, and students.
