SCHOLARS BOUND FOR JAPAN. Governor Bong Lacson lauded scholar-engineers, Aljane Grace Rosal of Sagay City and Mark Lumawod of Victorias City, who will be working in Japan this week.

Both scholars are products of the Provincial Government Scholarship Program, OISCA International, Japan and OISCA Bago Training Center collaboration.

They are scheduled to travel to Japan on September 4 as regular workers of Toyo Metal Company in Nagoya. This is the first time that the scholars of Negros Occidental will go to Japan on a working visa.

They will work as recycle engineers with a five-year contract. Lumawod is an electronic engineer while Rosal is a chemical engineer.

Also in photos are Shigemi and Thelma Watanabe of OISCA Bago and Negros Occ. Scholarship Program Head, Karen Dinsay.
