Governor Bong Lacson graced the 45TH Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM) Negros Foundation Day, and lauded all Occupational Medicine Practitioners for promoting the health and safety of workers for more than four decades.
The event was held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Park Inn by Radisson, SM City Complex in Bacolod City, and was attended by PCOM officers and members and other guests.
“As leaders of the medical community, you are partners of the government, and the recent health crisis is an opportunity for us to further unite all efforts to see our country and our people safely to the future,” said Gov. Lacson.
“May you continue to be the globally recognized organization of Occupational Medicine Practitioners committed to preserve, protect, promote, and enhance the health and safety of workers in all occupations while conserving the environment, thereby contributing to the progress of the nation,” he added.
Present in the activity were PCOM National President, Dr. Anna Sofia Victoria Fajardo, Dr. Carlitos Orola, VP Bacolod South, Dr. Rafael Jocson, Dr. Noelito Recamara, Dr. Nilda Isabel Dela Pena, Dr. Gilda Rose Lim, Dr. Robby Ace Balquin, Dr. John Dominic Trinidad, and Dr. Francisco Maleza, Jr., president of the Philippine Society of Vascular Medicine, who was also the guest speaker.
