EARTH HOUR. The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental joined the Earth Hour Ceremonial Lights Off at the Capitol tonight.
A program was held on the Capitol steps, spearheaded by the Provincial Environment Management Office led by Atty. Julie Ann Bedrio.
Earth Hour aims to encourage people, governments, and businesses to think about their ecological footprint and how they can take responsibility for managing it in a more sustainable way.
It also aims to encourage people to learn more about climate change and its effects on the planet and people’s lives.
Earth Hour is observed every 4th Saturday of March.
