WATCH. PROVINCIAL NITROUS OXIDE DECOMPOSER POWERED UP IN SILAY
Governor Bong Lacson led the ceremonial powering up of the newly-built Provincial Nitrous Oxide Decomposer at the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City, yesterday (Dec. 31).
The facility, Nitro Sterile Infectious Medical Waste Sterilizer, is intended for the management of hospital wastes in provincial government-run hospitals.
The blessing and inauguration of the project was also witnessed by Silay City Mayor Mark Golez, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, TLJPH Hospital Chief, Dr. Mary Ann Maestral, Hospital Operations Department Chief, Dr. Girlie Pinongan, Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa, and medical doctors and nurses.
Gov. Lacson said that hospital waste is a concern if it is not managed well. He also said that the project is part of upgrading and improving the facilities of the Provincial Hospital to improve public health services.
