Senator Riza Hontiveros together with Governor Bong Lacson launched the senator’s Mobile Health Clinic project at the Provincial Capitol grounds in Bacolod City yesterday afternoon, September 27, 2021.

Gov. Lacson thanked Senator Hontiveros for choosing Negros Occidental to be the first provincial partner of her project. Moreover, he said that the project is a necessary and timely intervention to the complex health care issues presently afflicting the country.

The said mobile clinic offers free consultation and medical services such as x-ray, ECG, laboratory, and ultrasound.

He also said that with hospitals currently operating at maximum capacity due to the surge of COVID cases, mobile clinics will be of great help in addressing the non-COVID health or other health care concerns and issues of Negrenses, thereby helping decongest hospitals.

Present at the event were Board Member Rita Gatuslao, Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Himamaylan City Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao, Executive Assistant to the Governor, Marie June Castro, among others.
