Governor Bong Lacson presided over the Scholarship Committee Meeting held at the Provincial Capitol, this afternoon.

A total of 309 scholarship grantees for school year 2021 – 2022 were presented at the meeting under different categories: 94 – District Educational Scholarship, 33 – Pagkaon Scholarship, 4 – Pagkaon Scholarship – Food Technology, 20 – Pagkaon – Degree Completion Scholarship, 58 – Indigenous Peoples’ Scholarship (IP), 39 – Degree Completion Scholarship, 10 – Negros Occidental Provincial Medical and Nursing Scholarship – Medicine, 1 – Negros Occidental Provincial Medical and Nursing Scholarship – Nursing, 2 – Provincial Educational Assistance to Capitol Employees – Post Graduate Studies, 14 – Provincial Educational Assistance to Capitol Employees – Bachelor’s Degree, 3 – Person’s With Disabilities Scholarship, and 31 – OFW Scholarship.

Present at the meeting were the Scholarship Committee members, SP Member Pocholo Yuvienco, SP Member Agustin Ernesto Bascon, chairman of the SP Committee on Education, and NOSP Head, Karen Dinsay.
