Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson attended a panel discussion and delivered a commitment message, representing the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP), during the Presentation of Continuing Partnerships with League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) and LPP in Supporting LGUs toward Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines.

Reflections on the ways forward in the new education normal as well as updates in the education sector were discussed during the virtual dialogue, this afternoon.

LCP president and Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, representatives from the Department of Education, RTI International, USAID, and The Asia Foundation also joined the meeting.
