WATCH: Distribution of P1.7 Million worth of stipends to 998 Project FREE (Flagships to Reach Educational Excellence) Paglaum teacher-scholars (Batch 2) and inspection of the ongoing rehabilitation at the Panaad Park and Stadium.
A total of P1.7 Million were released to 998 Project FREE (Flagships to Reach Educational Excellence) Paglaum teacher-scholars (Batch 2) of the Provincial Government, in a distribution held at the Panaad Park in Bacolod City, today.
The beneficiaries are public elementary and high school teachers in the province who availed of post-graduate studies.
The activity was facilitated by the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program headed by Karen Dinsay, and the Provincial Treasurer’s Office.
Governor Lacson who was present at the activity lauded the teacher-scholars for observing safety protocols at the activity. The governor also told them to support the COVID-19 vaccination program of the government to slowly recover and move forward towards development.
