Negros Occidental Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Renante Decena and the surveillance team of the Provincial African Swine Fever (ASF) Task Force had a meeting with Governor Bong Lacson at the Capitol today, and gave an update of the team’s action plans and accomplishments in the prevention of the entry of ASF in Negros Occidental.

The governor has directed them to ensure that the province remains ASF-free to protect the livelihood and swine industry in the province.
