National Historical Commission of the Philippines is launching the said design competition in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the historical Victory at Mactan, Cebu. The winning entry will serve as the prototype of the monument that will be enshrined in the atrium of the Lapu-lapu Memorial Shrine and Museum. Submission of entries through online is October 23, 2020. The winner will receive P300,000 cash.
